Escorted Tours

Escorted small-group tours of Albania

A local guide travels with you for the whole trip, every day planned, nothing to organise yourself. Fixed departures you can join, or book any tour privately for your own group.

A guide with you, start to finish

Not a local contact you meet at each stop — the same guide travels with your group for the whole trip, every day.

Nothing to plan yourself

Hotels, transport, entrance tickets and restaurants are all arranged. You show up; we handle the logistics.

Small groups, not coach tours

Never more than 18 guests, usually far fewer. Air-conditioned vans and modern boats, not a 50-seat bus.

Every tour we run — from a half-day boat trip to the 7-day road trip across the whole country — is fully escorted: a local guide who grew up here travels with the group, not a driver who drops you at the gate. Day trips run on fixed daily or weekly departures; multi-day escorted tours like the Grand Albania Road Trip and the Theth & Valbona trek run on set monthly dates. All of them can also be booked as a private escorted tour for just your own group.

Every escorted tour we run

Day trips and multi-day adventures, all guided the whole way. Prices are per person.

FAQ

Escorted tours, explained

What does 'escorted tour' mean?

An escorted tour means a guide travels with your group for the entire trip, not just at individual stops. Every day is planned, hotels and transport are booked, and the guide handles logistics, translation and local knowledge throughout — you don't drive, navigate or organise anything yourself.

What's the difference between an escorted tour and a private tour?

Both are guided the same way — the difference is who's in the group. An escorted tour runs on a fixed departure date that other travellers can join (couples, solo travellers, small groups); a private tour is the same guide and itinerary, but exclusively for your own group. Every tour on this page can also run privately — just ask.

Are escorted tours good for solo travellers?

Yes — it's one of the easiest ways to see Albania solo. You join a small group with a fixed departure date, so there's no single-supplement pressure to find travel companions, and a guide handles the logistics and language that can make solo travel in a new country feel like more work than it needs to be.

How physically demanding are your escorted tours?

Most are easy walking paces suited to any reasonably active traveller — boat days, city walks and cultural sites. The Theth–Valbona Alps trek is the one genuinely strenuous multi-day option; every other tour page notes its specific activity level.

Want a private escorted tour?

Every tour here runs privately too, from a couple to a large group. Tell us your dates and we'll build it around you.
